I was stress free while moving from my 3 bedroom house to a storage unit and trusted them with my all of my belongings. 100% recommend.Kait SovernKait Sovern ★★★★★ Our experience with our American Way Van & Storage and National Van Lines 2300-mile move was exceptional from beginning to end. It started with a home visit by Thomas of American Way. He clearly explained the moving process, helped us inventory out belongings and gave us helpful tips on effective packing. Later, he and Adam were both patient and understanding as we changed our minds several times about the details of our contract. Our National Van Lines driver, Marco, was amazing! He communicated clearly with us regarding the schedule and paperwork details, worked extremely hard loading and unloading our possessions and related with us in a way that was positive, personable and professional. We felt that he truly got to know us and cared about us, our possessions and our move. We watched in awe as he skillfully backed that giant truck down the long and winding driveway that leads to our condo clear in the back of the complex. The gentlemen who helped him load and unload the truck were also very hard-working professional movers who knew what they were doing. Together, the team assured that our possessions arrived at our new home unscathed. While we hope never to make a cross-country move again ourselves, to anyone planning to do so, we whole-heartedly say: "Choose American Way and National!"John KinselJohn Kinsel ★★★★★ Brandon and team were professional and did a nice job of packing up our home!!Stephanie SpencerStephanie Spencer ★★★★★ American Way did a great job moving my mother-in-law’s furniture from her prior home to assisted living. They showed up on time, wrapped and boxed the tv and packed up her belongings quickly and efficiently. The guys were familiar with the assisted living facility we chose, and had nothing but good things to say about it, which made us feel a little better about the move. I would highly recommend American Way.Jackie PriserJackie Priser ★★★★★ The best moving experience I've ever had. Brandon and Tyler handled the delivery of our things and did it with such care and attention to detail. They were careful and methodical and were also a joy to joke around with throughout. They clearly take great pride in their work and I cannot recommend them enough!!Kristin RushKristin Rush ★★★★★ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’d give more than 5 stars if I could! This was my 7th military move, and I can confidently say that American Way Van and Storage—especially Eric, Brandon, JJ, and their team—set the gold standard. From start to finish, their communication was clear and professional, their efficiency was unmatched, and the care they took with my belongings was truly impressive. I've seen a lot of moving crews over the years, but none as dedicated and respectful as this one. Absolutely the best moving experience I’ve had—highly recommended!Tiffany PayneTiffany Payne ★★★★★ Estimate was completed efficiently and the move schedule without any issues. On the the day of the move, the guys showed up on time, loaded and unloaded quickly while still taking care of our contents. I would highly recommend these guys.Terry CookTerry Cook ★★★★★ Great experience…starting from house visit, quote, pickup and delivery. Eric Wright was great to work with, very professional, courteous and friendly. The crew (Randy) did an amazing job. Would definitely recommend them and contact them for any future needs.Hank JoviHank Jovi ★★★★★ This is the second time my daughter and I have used American Way Van & Storage. As before they did an excellent job. Thomas Vann was so helpful in helping solve any problems and answer any questions we had . I felt comfortable calling Thomas anytime and he always responded with a friendly attitude. This is moving company I highly recommend. I keep them in my contacts for future reference if I need them again.Gloria PayneGloria Payne ★★★★★ I interviewed two other movers and decided that American Way Van & Storage was who I wanted to to be in charge of my truck and household goods. I felt very comfortable with Thomas, who was patient and offered suggestions. He was available whenever I had questions ( I had a lot). I felt by the time the move came around that he was my friend. He always answered ( even when he was sick) his cell when I called. Everyone who I came in contact with during this move made me feel comfortable that I would get top service which I did. I would NOT hesitate to use American Way again. As a matter of fact my daughter is moving here in July 2024 and she has all the information to get in touch with Thomas . She was with me while I was being packed and she like how everything was handled. Special thanks goes out to Thomas Vann.Gloria PayneGloria Payne ★★★★★ I’d like to save you some time with an honest review if you are considering American Way for a long distance move. They came in less expensive than Upack and Pods. Additionally, the cost of renting a U-Haul, Penske, or Enterprise truck was a little less but when you calculate the gas cost it’s about the same rate as American Way. Secondary to price the most important thing for me was honesty and trust and they really hit it out of the ballpark here. Thomas Van was our coordinator and took his time to create a full inventory of our house to give us an honest estimate. This is really important because hiring movers who give you an estimate without seeing what you have can easily up the price once they deliver and that just not a position anybody wants to be in. Thomas was straight forward, available to answer our questions quickly (I’m talking within a few minutes), and even gave us tips on what we can do to save time and money. He truly treated us as if we were his family with how kind, courteous, and thoughtful he was with everything. Dennis Snyder was our mover and went above and beyond what any mover I have ever dealt with has done. He did everything from check in with a call and text before coming, wrapped everything like it was faberge eggs, and continuously checked in until he got to our destination. He is one of those salt of the earth types who is just genuinely caring and wants to help as much as possible. At one point I pondered if Dennis was going to offer to set up our utilities for us too. I mean that is how much he did for us. We are incredibly grateful to have found American Way and really lucked out with Thomas and Dennis. I would highly recommend this company.Emily MitchellEmily Mitchell ★★★★★ Move was great! Three wonderful and kind gentlemen moved my mom from Dayton to Columbus. They were very careful with her items and quick and efficient. Couldn’t recommend them enough!Kelsey SnavelyKelsey Snavely ★★★★★ Great experience with this moving company! The movers were friendly, efficient, and pricing was very reasonable. Entire process was smooth and will definitely recommend them.Varun ShrivastavaVarun Shrivastava ★★★★★ Eric, Tyler, Jay and Happy were FANTASTIC! Everything about American Way was exceptional! Highly recommend this company!Jennifer ThomasJennifer Thomas ★★★★★ The crew did an amazing job. Totally patient with my unpreparedness and more than eager to accommodate and work with me. Thanks to Brandon and his team this is shaping up to be my best more yet!!Ken SloatKen Sloat ★★★★★ These movers were much better than the movers that I’ve hired in the past, and their price was fair. I could see that the guys were trying very hard to be careful not to ding my walls, and they didn’t. They had to take apart a large roll-top desk in order to get it upstairs where they reassembled it. I appreciated their good work so much that when I had to move a large and heavy item from my garage to the inside about six months later, I called them again. Eric, thanks.Sincerely, Vicvik Evik E ★★★★★ Excellent customer service, affordable, and the movers were very friendly, conscientious, and accommodating.Sean SnyderSean Snyder ★★★★★ The guys at American Way did a great job on my move today. They were professional, took care with my things and were quick in getting the job done. Highly recommend.Ray CordellRay Cordell ★★★★★ Amazing staff. Professional and courteous. Brandon and the guys were great! Very flexible with my instructions and were careful not to let my cats escape! Seriously I would recommend them again in a heartbeat. I will leave a Part Two review after Monday's move is complete. Part Two-the move and unpacking went very smoothly! Also want to add Eric Wright's consistent attention during the move as the overall project manager!Elizabeth OsbornElizabeth Osborn ★★★★★ This has been a wonderful moving experience. He checked in on us regularly and made sure we understood everything in the contract. He made us feel that it wasn't about the money at all but made us feel like family and that our move was smooth and stress free. It was hassle free and a great transition. The moving crew used was led by Richard. They were the best crew that I have ever had move us. Richard was so polite and really took care of our things. Both Eric and Richard are men of character. They did what they said they would do and have morals and values that showed in all that they did. If you are moving and have the pleasure of having Eric and Richard involved, you will be writing the same review. Thank you, Eric and Richard.Render Antonio Woods Sr.Render Antonio Woods Sr. ★★★★★ Brandon and Doug are a fantastic crew! Packed up my entire house fast and efficiently. Now again I have moved recently and have used this service again, to move from Alexandria Louisiana to Stafford Virginia, Eric was so helpful and guided me again trough the process, very knowledgeable and I was so pleased with the move. They made packing look easy and made sure everything was packed with care! Loved that they were mindful of the carpets too & made sure they were covered. 💕Breanne N MulveyBreanne N Mulvey ★★★★★ American Way has made the entire move process simple and effortless on our part. From working with Angie to get it scheduled, to having Thomas come out to do the pre-move survey, to having Brandon’s team (Doug, Jay, Lorenzo) come out to pack and load the truck, it has been the easiest move we have ever had. I’m sure our household items are packed and stored properly. Brandon’s team was professional, willing to answer all our questions, and ensured all of concerns were addressed and taken care of. Thank you guys for making our move so easy!!!!Matt EfirdMatt Efird ★★★★★ William EdmondsonWilliam Edmondson ★★★★★ I contacted 5 national moving companies; Eric Wright with American Way represented National, and I couldn't be happier with how he handled my move, beginning with the only in-person assessment. My movers, Ryan and Brian, went the extra mile on both ends of the transport, including disassembling/reassembling a beast of a piece from IKEA, and TLC for my old, fragile family furniture. The process to assure 100% confidence that every item packed was delivered made for a stress-free final day. Thanks, American Way!Kristen MacCartneyKristen MacCartney ★★★★★ So far so good Thomas has been very helpfulJimmy BunckJimmy Bunck ★★★★★ The thought of packing and moving from Ohio to Florida was daunting, but after contacting American Way and meeting Eric Wright our minds were put at rest.Eric did a thorough search and review of the contents of the house and provided a quote that we approved.Everyone we dealt with were professional, courteous and efficient.Just a great company to work with and we would highly recommend them. The packing team was great. The truck driver (Bobby) and other loading person were fantastic. They were able to unload in Florida a few days earlier than we expected which was great. All communication was timely and Eric made frequent phone calls with us during the process to insure our satisfaction. They exceeded our expectations!!Thank you.Linda WhittingtonLinda Whittington ★★★★★ Great personal service- quick response to texts, email and phone. Made long distance move easy as possible. Would highly recommend and will use again for any future moves..Jill BakerJill Baker ★★★★★ I had a really great experience with National Van Lines/American Way Van & Storage. Their pricing was extremely competitive, and my sales rep, Eric, was terrific throughout the entire process. He was proactive in his communication, very transparent about where I could save money or secure discounts, and guided me from securing quotes all the way to when my belongings were delivered.I secured over 10 quotes from various moving companies as I tried to find the most value, but more importantly, the most confidence. I'll be honest, the moving industry is filled with scams, shady brokers, and wildly inconsistent and inaccurate pricing. Eric, and the entire company, made me feel like an actual human and worked with me, instead of making me feel like they were trying to take advantage of me. Their pricing was extremely fair, their service was professional and as advertised, and they were flexible and understanding even when I had to pivot delivery locations.I think we can all agree that moving is not a fun or enjoyable process. However, if I'm going to have to do it again, my first call will more than likely be to National Van Lines/American Way Van & Storage.Danny IannelliDanny Iannelli ★★★★★ The team did a terrific job. The move was handled quickly with nothing damaged. The moving team in particular was incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend them.Susan MullisSusan Mullisjs_loader
